  The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association 2009 Fall Conference, Mea Culpa: Lessons Lived  & Learned, was co-chaired by Wendy Moore Johns.  Topics included: Stategies for Investigating and Proving Fault, The New Rules - Are you ready for January 1, 2010?, Appropriate Choice of Experts- Liability, Causation, Damages, Offers to Settle - The importance of Communication and Bulding a Future for Success. 

  From Thomson, Rogers Craig Brown presented on Mary Carter - Friend or Foe?, Darcy Merkur presented on Expert Witnesses - New Duties and Aleks Mladenovic co-presented on the Effective Use of Structures.
   

   

• 2009 Provincial ABI Conference

  October 28th - 30th, 2009
  Sheraton on the Falls Hotel, Niagara Falls, ON

  The conference was hosted by the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) in collaboration with the Community Support Network (CSN) and with host association the Brain Injury Association of Niagara (BIAN).

  David Payne and David Tenszen, of Thomson, Rogers spoke about The Rights of a Disabled Person in Returning to Work, and the Rights of an Employer to Deny their Return.
