The Toronto Accessible Sports Council (TASC) is one of six Community Sport Councils of the Toronto Sports Council. The vision of TASC is to unite disability organizations across the city that provide sport and active living opportunities for people with physical disabilities to share resources, collaborate in program planning and delivery, and create a stronger unified voice for athletes with a disability in Toronto.

According to media reports, on Monday, November 2, 2009 the Ontario Minister of Finance will announce changes to the Ontario Automobile Insurance Legislation and to the Ontario Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule in response to the five year review by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

According to initial media reports, the changes will reduce the basic motor vehicle policy coverage in an attempt to lower premiums.

Richard Halpern, Denny Dixon, and Aleks Mladenovic have successfully won a medical malpractice lawsuit against doctors and nurses responsible for the cerebral palsy of a child asphyxiated due to a delay in performing a Caesarean section.

Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) ruled that the millions of dollars in Pooled Fund Securities managed by the bankrupt, Farm Mutual Financial Services Inc. are to be returned to the corporate unitholders.
